THE TIMELINE

What “16 weeks” actually means

The 16 weeks covers our work, from your first planning session to the moment your application is submitted to the CQC or Ofsted. It does not include the regulator’s own assessment time, because that decision, and how long it takes, sits with the regulator, not with us.

We are clear about this because it matters. What we control, we commit to. What the regulator controls, we prepare you for properly, so you walk into your assessment ready.

The three phases

Every build follows the same structured path. Here is what happens, and what you get, at each stage.

Foundations and planning · Weeks 1 to 3

We confirm the right regulated model for you (CQC or Ofsted, and the specific regulated activity), structure and form your company correctly, and map out the full 16 weeks so you know exactly what happens and when.

What you get: your regulatory pathway confirmed, your company formed, and a week-by-week plan.

Building your compliance · Weeks 4 to 10

This is the heavy lifting, and it is ours. We write the policies, procedures, and governance documents the regulator requires, tailored to your business rather than pulled from a template. Safeguarding, health and safety, your recruitment framework, your staff handbook. We set up your registered manager structure and support the DBS process. We build your brand and a regulator-appropriate website, and we introduce you to a specialist accountant.

What you get: a complete, tailored compliance documentation set, your brand and website, your registered manager structure, and your accountant in place.

Submission and launch · Weeks 11 to 16

We run a final quality-control review, then complete and submit your application to the CQC or Ofsted in your name. We prepare you thoroughly for your interview or inspection, so you know what to expect and can show your genuine knowledge clearly.

What you get: your application submitted, and you prepared and confident for the regulator’s assessment.

After you are registered, we stay with you for 4 to 8 weeks of launch support, to help you start operating smoothly. Because registration depends on the regulator’s decision, this support begins once your registration is granted.

What we handle, and what you do

The division is simple. We take on the complex, time-consuming regulatory work. You provide what only you can, and keep your job. This is the structure behind our full done-for-you service.

We handle

The compliance documentation, the application wording and submission, liaison with the regulator, your brand and website, the accountant introduction, and your interview or inspection preparation.

You do

Give us accurate information and documents in good time, make the decisions that are yours to make (such as premises and staffing), and be available for key milestones and your regulator assessment. Throughout, you keep working and earning.

Why it works

A structured build, aimed squarely at what CQC registration and Ofsted registration actually require.

Built for the regulators.

Every step targets what the CQC or Ofsted actually assess. This is not a generic startup checklist.

Tailored, not templated.

Your documentation reflects your real business, which is what stands up to scrutiny.

You stay employed.

The process runs around your shifts. You keep earning while your business takes shape.

Honest about the outcome.

We prepare a strong application and prepare you well. The decision is the regulator’s, and we never pretend otherwise.

Common questions about the process

No. The 16 weeks is our work, up to submitting your application. The CQC or Ofsted then assess it on their own timeline, which is outside our control. We prepare you fully for that stage so you are ready when it comes.

The timeline depends partly on you. If we are waiting on information or documents from you, the 16 weeks can extend. We tell you exactly what we need and when, so you can keep things moving around your shifts.

Yes. The whole process is built for people working full-time. We handle the building. You stay in your job and keep earning while your business takes shape.

Everything we build is yours: your company, your documentation, your brand, and your website. You keep all of it, whatever the regulator decides.
