PRICING

Pricing

We do not publish a single price, because the right number depends on what you are building. What we will give you is complete honesty about the costs involved and a tailored quote on a free call.

Here is how we think about pricing, what our service includes, and the costs you will pay whoever you work with.

How we price our service

We build the entire regulated business, the company, the compliance documentation, the branding, and your CQC or Ofsted registration, delivered by a dedicated team. The cost of that work depends on your sector and your situation: a domiciliary care agency, a children’s home, and a nursery are very different builds, with different documentation, different regulatory requirements, and different complexity.

That is why we do not put a single figure on this page. A number with no context either overstates the cost for a simpler build or understates it for a complex one, and neither helps you. Instead, we give you a clear, tailored quote on a free consultation, once we understand exactly what you are building. No obligation, and no pressure to proceed.

What we will not do is compete to be the cheapest. In regulated care, the cheapest option is usually the one that cuts the corners that matter, and a rejected application costs far more in lost time than doing it properly the first time. We price for work that is done correctly, once.

What your service includes

Whatever your sector, our done-for-you service covers the whole build, end to end. In outline, that means:

A dedicated team of thirteen specialists, regulation, administration, and technical, working your build end to end
Confirmation of the right regulatory pathway for your plan
Company formation and the correct business structure (we cover the Companies House registration fee, see below)
Every policy, procedure, and governance document the regulator expects, written specifically for your service, never generic templates
Professional branding and a compliant website
Introduction to a specialist accountant from our network
Full preparation and submission of your CQC or Ofsted application
Thorough preparation for your registered manager interview or inspection
Post-registration launch support once you are approved

All of it is built to be done correctly the first time, on a sixteen-week timeline to a complete, submitted application. After submission, the regulator’s own assessment period applies, which we manage on your behalf.

The Regulator-Ready Guarantee

We stand behind the work. If we build and submit your application and it is rejected before your interview or inspection, we will rework it and resubmit it at no additional cost.

If it is rejected again at the same stage, we refund fifty per cent of your service fee, and you keep everything we have built for you: the company, the policies, the documentation, and the rest. You are left better prepared, not worse off.

This is what doing it properly means in practice: we take on the risk of getting the regulatory work right, rather than leaving it with you.

Free rework
If rejected before interview or inspection
50% refund
If it fails again at the same stage
You keep everything
The company, policies, and documents are yours

The costs you will pay whoever you use

Separate from our fee, there are costs that any care or childcare business has to pay, to the regulator and to others, regardless of who helps you set up. We are upfront about these so there are no surprises. Here is the honest picture for a typical adult social care setup.

Figures last reviewed 05 June 2026. Always confirm current figures with the relevant body.

The regulator’s fee. The CQC does not charge an upfront application fee to register. Once your registration takes effect, it charges an annual provider fee, set by the size of your service. We give you the figure for your specific service on a free consultation. Ofsted’s fees vary by route, from around £35 for a childminder to several hundred or more for a children’s home.
Enhanced DBS checks. Around £50 to £65 per person for the registered manager and provider. Each check must be less than twelve months old when you apply. If you are not a registered healthcare professional, the DBS is countersigned by the CQC, which can take several weeks, so it is worth starting early.
The Level 5 qualification. Your registered manager needs a Level 5 in Leadership and Management for Health and Social Care, which typically costs between £500 and £1,200. We help you find the best available option, often around £500, though we cannot guarantee a specific price.
ICO data protection registration. Any business handling personal data must register with the Information Commissioner’s Office and pay an annual fee, usually around £40 to £60. It is a legal requirement, and one many new providers miss.
Insurance. You will need public liability and employers’ liability cover in place before you register, typically £200 to £2,000 a year depending on your service and size. We help you find an affordable option.
Ongoing regulator fees. The CQC fee is an annual one, so you will pay it again each year on the anniversary of your registration, roughly £1,200 to £2,400 for a small agency.

There is one fee you will not pay yourself: we cover the cost of registering your company at Companies House. It is a small thing, but it is part of how we take the setup off your plate.

These are the genuine, unavoidable costs of running a regulated business properly. On your consultation, we will walk through the full picture for your specific plan, including our fee, so you know exactly where you stand before you decide anything.
