CLIENT PROTECTION
Service Scope & Limitation Policy
What our service includes, what it excludes, and the boundaries we do not cross.
We provide a single, fixed-scope service: the done-for-you build and submission of a regulated care or childcare business. This policy sets out exactly what that includes, what it does not, and the firm boundaries we will not cross. Being clear about scope protects you and us. GoZtartUp is a trading name of Aice Limited (Company No. 14726496).
1. What the service includes
Our service is delivered over a structured 16-week timeline, in phases. The table below sets out what we produce.
| Phase | What we deliver |
|---|---|
| Eligibility and pathway | Eligibility confirmation, CQC or Ofsted pathway determination, and scope lock. |
| Company and governance | Company registration facilitation, governance baseline documents, and operating-model alignment. |
| Compliance build | The regulator-required policies and procedures, tailored to your business (not generic templates), health and safety documentation, safeguarding documents, a recruitment framework, and a staff handbook. |
| Registered manager and evidence | Registered manager structure guidance, evidence compilation, DBS process support, and readiness checks. |
| Application and submission | Application completion, internal quality-control review, submission to the CQC or Ofsted, and liaison with the regulator during assessment. |
| Branding and web | Naming support, a brand identity kit, a regulator-appropriate website, and professional email. Web presence support for a defined period. |
| Accountancy introduction | Connection to a specialist accountant, with the financial and regulatory documentation to support setup. |
| Post-registration support | 4 to 8 weeks of operational launch guidance, staff-onboarding coordination support, and compliance troubleshooting. |
| Bonus | Interview and inspection preparation guidance. |
You keep full ownership of everything we produce, your business structure, policies, documentation, web assets, and brand, whatever the regulatory outcome.
2. What the service does not include
The following are not part of the service. Some may be available as a separately agreed change to your engagement; others we do not provide at all.
| Not included | Explanation |
|---|---|
| Operating your service | We build and submit. We do not run healthcare or childcare services on your behalf. |
| Guaranteeing regulatory approval | Approval is the regulator’s decision. We promise disciplined execution, not outcomes. |
| Legal advice | We prepare consultancy documentation. We are not a law firm. Seek independent legal advice where you need it. |
| Immigration advice | We do not give immigration advice, check visa status, or facilitate Certificates of Sponsorship. |
| Financial or investment advice | We do not assess creditworthiness, recommend financial products, or give investment advice. Instalments are a third-party facility. |
| Premises | We do not source, acquire, or negotiate premises or leases. That is your responsibility. |
| Staff recruitment | We provide a recruitment framework and safer-recruitment documentation. We do not recruit, interview, or employ staff for you. |
| Ongoing compliance management | Post-registration support is time-boxed. Keeping your business compliant after that is your responsibility. |
| Clinical or care advice | We do not provide clinical, medical, or care-related advice. |
| Tax or accounting services | We introduce you to a specialist accountant. We do not provide tax, accounting, or bookkeeping services ourselves. |
3. The boundaries we do not cross
Five boundaries are absolute. We will not cross them under any circumstances, and no member of our team or any partner can waive them.
We do not guarantee regulatory approval. We do not give immigration advice or facilitate Certificates of Sponsorship. We do not give legal advice. We do not give financial or investment advice. These are firm limits that protect you and keep our service honest and within its competence.
4. Changes to your scope
Our service has a fixed scope, agreed and locked during onboarding. If you want something beyond that scope, it is handled as a formal, written change request, which may carry an additional fee and may extend the timeline. This keeps both sides clear on what is being delivered and avoids misunderstandings.
5. Your responsibilities
Our ability to deliver on time depends on you too. You agree to give us accurate and complete information, to respond to our requests in good time, and to make the decisions that are yours to make (for example about premises and staffing). Delays in providing what we need may affect the 16-week timeline.
6. Limitation of liability
We perform our service with reasonable care and skill, as the law requires. To the extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim arising from the service is limited to the total fees you have paid us under your Service Agreement, and we do not accept liability for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost profits or business opportunity. Nothing here limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited by law. Your statutory rights are unaffected.
