Communication Opt-Out Policy
How to stop marketing messages from us, on any channel, and what we may still send.
You have the right to stop receiving marketing communications from us at any time. This policy explains how to opt out on each channel, what counts as an opt-out, and what messages we may still send you afterwards. GoZtartUp is a trading name of Aice Limited (Company No. 14726496).
1. Your right to opt out
Under UK GDPR Article 21, you have an absolute right to object to direct marketing. There is no exception, no balancing test, and no grounds required. Under PECR, every marketing message we send must include a way to opt out. Our commitment is simple: if you tell us to stop, we stop.
2. How to opt out
You can opt out on any channel, in whichever way is easiest for you.
| Channel | How to opt out |
|---|---|
| Click the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any marketing email, or reply with “unsubscribe”, “remove me”, or “stop”. | |
| WhatsApp or SMS | Reply “STOP”, or any message telling us you do not want further messages. |
| Social media messages | Reply telling us you would prefer not to be messaged again, or block the account. |
| Telephone | Tell us during the call that you would like to be removed from our contact list. |
| In writing | Email info@goztartup.com with the subject line “Opt Out”, or write to us at the address below. |
You can also opt out of all marketing at once by emailing info@goztartup.com and asking us to remove you from all marketing lists.
3. What counts as an opt-out
You do not need to use any particular words. Any clear indication that you want to stop receiving marketing is an opt-out. “No thanks”, “not interested”, “please don’t message me again”, or blocking our account all count. If we are ever unsure, we treat it as an opt-out, and we apply it as widely as possible.
When you opt out, we stop. We will not argue, question your decision, or try to persuade you to reconsider, and we will not contact you on a different channel to keep marketing to you.
4. How quickly we act
We stop marketing to you on the relevant channel straight away, and we make sure you are removed from our marketing lists promptly. As a standard, we complete this within 48 hours of receiving your request. When you opt out, we may send you a single confirmation message to let you know you have been unsubscribed and how to re-subscribe if you ever change your mind. That message will not ask you to do anything to confirm your opt-out.
5. The scope of your opt-out
An opt-out usually applies to the channel you used. For example, clicking the unsubscribe link in an email stops email marketing, but you might still hear from us on another channel you separately agreed to. If you want to stop all marketing on every channel, just say so (“please remove me from all your lists” or “I don’t want to hear from you again”), and we will stop everything. If your request is ambiguous, we apply the broadest interpretation and stop all marketing.
6. What we may still send after you opt out
Opting out of marketing does not stop the messages we need to send to deliver a service you have asked for. If you are a client, we may still send you communications that are not marketing.
| We may still send | We will not send |
|---|---|
| Delivery and milestone updates on your application | Promotional emails or messages |
| Payment reminders and invoices | Marketing offers or booking links |
| Booking confirmations | Re-contact attempts to market to you |
| Regulatory application status updates | |
| Responses to a data protection request |
These service communications are necessary to perform your Service Agreement and are not affected by a marketing opt-out.
7. Re-subscribing
If you opt out and later change your mind, you can ask to receive marketing again. We will only add you back after you have given fresh, clear consent. We keep a permanent record of opt-outs purely to make sure we do not contact you again by mistake, this record exists only to protect your choice.
8. Contact
