AI Usage & Disclosure Policy
How and where we use AI, the human oversight behind it, and your choices.
We use AI tools to help us work efficiently, but a qualified human reviews and approves everything before it reaches you. This policy explains how and where we use AI, the boundaries we keep, and your right to opt out. GoZtartUp is a trading name of Aice Limited (Company No. 14726496).
1. Our approach to AI
We use AI as a tool to assist our work, for example in research, drafting, and content development. We do not let AI make decisions about you, and we do not let AI-produced work reach you without a human reviewing and approving it first. Every deliverable we provide is our responsibility, whether or not AI helped produce it.
No AI-generated or AI-assisted output leaves our control without human review and approval. AI does not make decisions on our behalf. AI does not send communications to you without a human authorising them. AI does not determine your eligibility, your suitability, or your regulatory outcome. The Director is personally accountable for every deliverable and every communication.
2. Where we use AI, and where we do not

3. Your personal data and AI
We protect your personal data when we use AI. We never input your special category or sensitive data, such as DBS information, financial details, or health information, into external AI tools. Where AI processes any personal data at all, we only do so where there is a lawful basis and appropriate safeguards, including a data processing agreement with the provider. 4. No automated decisions about you
We do not use AI, or any other automated process, to make decisions that have a legal or similarly significant effect on you. Decisions about your application, your eligibility, and your account are made by our team with human oversight. This reflects your rights under UK GDPR Article 22.
5. How we tell you we use AI
We are open about our use of AI. Our Service Agreement states that we may use AI-assisted tools as part of delivery, and that all deliverables are reviewed and approved by qualified humans before delivery. If you ask whether AI was used in a specific deliverable, we will answer honestly. We do not present AI-generated content as a genuine human testimonial, and we do not use AI to create fake reviews.
6. Your right to opt out
If you would prefer that we do not use AI in your engagement, tell us. We will accommodate this where it is commercially practicable. Because some of our processes rely on AI tools, opting out may affect timelines, and we will discuss this with you during onboarding.
7. Keeping this current
The law on AI is developing quickly, including an expected UK AI Bill and forthcoming ICO guidance. We monitor these developments and will update this policy as the rules evolve.
